Chance and ED?

Hey I was just wondering what you think my chances would be for Early Decision:
UWGPA: 3.93, W: 4.59
ACT: 33
AP's: Lit (5), Micro (4), Environmental (4), US Gov (5), Psych (5)
-AP scholar with distinction

750 community service hours (commitment to 2 organizations, when spelled out becomes longer list of EC's)
-2 awards from county for community service

Internship with local organization

School: Public
Ethnicity: White
Gender: Female
State: Virginia
Intended Major: Learning and Organizational change

Thanks!

Based on the limited info, you’ve got a pretty fair shot.
Make those essays sing!
Good luck.

Excellent grades, good ACT score, and substantial community service. The school you are applying to is very small. Does anyone know what input SESP has in the admissions process? Since SESP only enrolls about 40 freshman a year, I assume that they are very concerned about fit. My impression is that SESP used to be easier to get into but that grades and ACT scores now mirror Weinberg. Good luck with the essays.

Thanks for the chances. Do you think it’s harder to get into because its small?

I also want to apply to SESP at Northwestern, and i was wondering if they place more importance into things like experience, community service, or anything that would explain why you would want to go there over scores?
