dude annenberg is a grad school. im pretty sure you have to apply to the college of arts and sciences to major in communications at penn. and i dont think they have a journalism/broadcast journalism major, the major is called communication, so it prob evolves more than journalism...check on each school's websites to make sure they offer what you need, don't just choose the top rated ones, they might not be what you're looking for.
as for your chances for the college, your gpa is low as is your math score, but you could always retake your sats...you didnt mention your race, if you're URM you could have a slightly better chance. just work on those essays (first make sure you actually know what programs penn offers and that they're what you're looking for)
good luck

You can apply to UPenn for a Communication Major, done with faculty from the Annenberg School.

My opinion: retake SAT 1 if you think it can be improved, and for SAT II a foreign language can help, I think, maybe Lit. Take the subject you know best, cause I don't think it'll matter very much WHAT you take if you have a great score. I applied as a Communication Major with SAT 2 in Physics, Math and French.
