Recs will be beyond amazing; my school worships me

I think you stand a good chance for everything but Harvard or Princeton. I am not saying that you are not likely to get in, but I am just saying that I feel clueless about Harvard or Princeton admission chances. Harvard and Princeton don’t admit students based on their grades b/c everyone who is applying to Harvard and Princeton has really good GPAs and test scores. But you seem pretty well rounded, and with amazing recs, I think you can hope for a good outcome. Good luck!

Aaand, please chance mine…
http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/969004-2015-admission-chances-dartmouth.html

Most likely acceptances at Vanderbilt, Georgetown, and Duke. Ivies are unpredictable.

Consider AP Envirosci your Junio year if you have a week to spare. Get Princeton Review’s prep book, get through it in a few days-a week at max-prior to the test, and get a 4 or 5 on the easiest AP test there is, aside from AP Human Geography, which is equally as easy.

My chance prediction for you is ZERO. Even if you get into a top college, you aren’t going to make it anywhere in life because your attitude is sh|t.

^Please ban the aforementioned user SheenR.
This user is a freshman belittling everyone, giving out completely absurd chances.

You can obviously study. High GPA, SAT, SAT IIs…

But are you from North Carolina?

Chem and Maths — what are you going to do with these subjects where you got high scores? If not, what are your academic interests? (You seem like a well-rounder, that’s really good in studies)

Do you prefer a small college, or a large one where you can specialize in a subject area not available in smaller colleges?

Do not apply to Princeton or Harvard though. They are for the best Stuy/TJ High/other Super-selective Prep school students for sure… The uncertainty level of any top student from your school is simply too high. And Vandy looks very much into test scores, without a class rank…your chances there may not be certain, especially if your school is outside TN.

A generic choice would be Davidson, if not Wake Forest, North Carolina, NC State and Duke. These five would just do.
