Thank you all for your help I wanted to give you everything as if you were an admissions officer. It’s alot but it encompasses who I am as a possible applicant and I will appreciate your response.

What is your UC GPA capped weighted?

@Gumbymom 4.33 Capped

Your chances of being accepted into almost every UC is really good. UCLA really only cares about students having good grades, as I see a TON of sites and posts about how it does not care about standardized test score. Even prep scholar shows their average act as around 29. Since you have a strong shot in UCLA, I would say you also have a strong shot at every UC school except Berkeley. I only say Berkeley because it might be a lot different from UCLA, and is somewhat unpredictable.

@rockydog1 You have a good shot at many of the UCs. I think UCSD has capped both Bio and Health Sciences tho (double check as I’m just going off memory.) The thing that will be the biggest problem is those majors. I think they tend to be oversubscribed at most UCs. You might want to look at the major selection strategically. Not sure if there are ways to approach it that increase your chances.

ACT definitely a bit low for top UCs.

Microbiology is a capped major but not Global Health, only Public Health.

Other than your test scores, you are a competitive applicant for the UC’s. UCLA/UCB and UCSD are always tough especially for the Health Sciences majors. The Claremont colleges will be equally difficult due to their low acceptance rate. You have an excellent chance at the rest of the schools on your list.

Good Luck.
