Hey guys, thanks for looking at this thread.

I'm currently a high school junior who's admission stats fall into the mean range of the Emory admission statistics of the 2011 class.

32 ACT, 2010 SAT, 3.8 unweighted, 4.0 weighted for grades 9-11, stellar ec's

Emory sounds like a fantastic school, especially for pre-med, which is the particular major that I'm interested in, but the 40k per year tuition alone is incredibly harsh and deterring.

I'm not too sure of how the financial aid selection works out, but someone once told me that Emory actually places a 15k cap on the four year tuition fee for those whose parents make less than 100k. They claim that they provide financial aid for "all those whom are eligible to attend" the university, but does that mean all those whom are eligible will receive the 15k cap, or just some amount of loans varying?

My legal guardian is a single aunt, and she makes a bit under 100 grand. Do you think I'll be able to get the financial aid?

Once again, thank you so much for putting your time into this.
