Chance at engineering?

<p>I'm interested in UConn and wanted to see my chances of getting accepted?</p>

<p>I am an out of state white male with these stats:</p>

<ul>
<li>3.55 Unweighted GPA </li>
<li>27 ACT score</li>
<li>610 Critical Reading, 650 Math, 580 Writing SAT scores</li>
</ul>

<p>Classes:</p>

<ul>
<li>2 semesters of Honors English</li>
<li>Honors Bio</li>
<li>Honors Physics</li>
<li>AP Environmental Science (scored a 4 on the test)</li>
<li>I also participate in jazz band and am in a select band for my school</li>
<li>My high school is supposedly one of the top in the state</li>
<li>I guess I consider myself a legacy since my great grandfather, grandfather, 2 great uncles, uncle, and aunt went there.</li>
</ul>

<p>Extracurriculars:</p>

<ul>
<li>High School Baseball</li>
<li>Volunteering</li>
<li>a few other school activities</li>
</ul>

<p>You may need to get accepted into the general University, and then transfer into engineering. Do you have the opportunity to retake the SATs? Your math score is a priority, but your reading score could use a boost as well.</p>
