I have between an A/A- average(school doesn't do gpa) at a pretty prestigious private school
I took the Sat twice, in January(got a 2200, 800 cr, 680 m, 720 w) and then in March and I'm awaiting those scores(I'm expecting >2250, much better math score)
So far I've taken one Sat II, biology m, and I got an 800
for my second one im going to take the math 2 and im expecting >750
ECs:
Played viola since 4th grade(orchestra and private lessons)
Model UN since 10th grade
Summer after freshman year- 1 month cultural immersion program in france
Summer after sophomore year- worked in a laboratory for five weeks
projected summer after junior year- working in another laboratory, or volunteer work
Presented my research at the 2013 AJAS conference(prestigious-ish national science conference)
Fencing since 9th grade, also fence at a club, am beginning to go to tournaments
Ultimate frisbee team since 9th grade

I've seen a couple of the Ivy's(brown and penn) and while I like them, I want to be realistic. Same as with top liberal arts schools(williams, amherst, wesleyan). Are Ivy league/top liberal arts schools in my "league"?

It’s hard to say whether any person is a match for an Ivy League school, but you’ve got the looks for it. Weird that your school doesn’t calculate GPA. What’s your class load?

Your ECs are very good. Continue to do research, and try to raise your bar - get published in a magazine, do something cool with it. You’re focusing on a cogent area in your EC, which means a lot to colleges.

SATs are also very good, same for SAT IIs. You’re going to need those, and you’ve done quite well on them; good job!

My class has around 120 students…and I’m not sure how to get published or whatever
I’m also thinking of doing volunteer work at a hospital, would >120 hours be good?
I’ll try to chance you later…
