In a few days, but I think I will be fine

Teacher Recs:
I believe I had very good teacher recs because my English and math teacher both say I am very talented at writing+algebra/geometry.

Mom is from China, Dad is from Germany, so I can bring diversity.

Just wondering what are my chances because I know Lakeside is very competitive, and I am not applying for financial aid.

did you get in?

I don’t understand why everyone has to note how intelligent they are. Most people who apply to a top-tier school are near the same level. I myself got a 99% on SSAT, but out of 1000 people on this forum I’m at best #500.

@prepqs And your modesty may be what distinguishes you from the 500 ahead of you and gets you in. Good luck!

This is from an old post @prepqs so your intended audience is probably not hanging 'round these parts anymore. From perusing these boards for many months, 99% might just be the curse that doesn’t get you in. I think it’s all about the whole student and what they bring to the table.
