My GPA unweighted currently is around 4.0
Last year I finished with a 3.9.

Predicted SAT score 2000+

Now, this of course is nothing out of the ordinary but I have a few trump cards up my sleeve.

Play basketball for my country's national team, meaning top 12 players of country. (starting five so that's top 5 players of country)

Received High Achiever Award for receiving perfect art scores internationally for 3 consecutive years, putting me in a very selective international group of maybe 1000 students... out of more than 60+ thousand students who have tried the same.

I play the guitar and piano too. (self-taught, no time and money for lessons)

I have been president of my year twice, and vice president of the year once (president of my class however)

Leader of my school's marching group for 3 consecutive years (record time, usually it's only one year).

I founded the "American Academy Fundraising Foundation" at my school, raising more than 2000 euros in a period of three months under my organization and management, we just used some of the money to buy Christmas presents for children at hospitals.

As you can see my Extracurriculars are pretty well-rounded, and I prefer that I have an exciting life, than stellar scores. I could achieve the latter no doubt, but everyone can too..

My application essays are really good (wrote them myself, but asked for feedback, and it seems that I am achieving the desired effect), interesting reads that reveal a lot about me, but are only anecdotes that I accumulated from the amount of time I spend doing things. Luckily my essays serve several purposes; providing insight on my character, catching the reader's attention, and being on topic are a few.

I have great letters of recommendation, I'm ranked as top 10% on the common app.

And for the all famous Box, now that's something else :)

I know people say, the box doesn't really mean much, but I have a different attitude. Everything means much, and if I make something mind-blowing, then it surely will positively affect my application. In any case, it was something I came up with, and something they rarely see. I don't want to jynx my application by telling you what it is though, but I assure you it is unique and probably rarely seen (if ever).

So what is your verdict?

Rice is my dream college, and I want to go there more than anything at this moment. I invested a lot of time in the application and truly believe I have a shot, but insight would be good!

(I want to major in Architecture, or something art related)
