I am a resident of Massachusetts and will be studying Hotel and Restaurant Management. These are my top choices so far, if anyone suggests any other schools please do not hesitate to mention them. I will be going in as a freshman transfer, so the school must allow students to transfer with ONLY 15 transferable credits.

Thanks in advance,
Matt

You should get in pretty easily at Texas Tech. I had terrible grades in High School and they tried to recruit me to their business school. Then again, I had some decent ecs that they somehow found out about.

Thanks for the input, what would you say my chances are at Auburn?

About the same really, a kid in my school with a worse GPA than you and about the same SAT got into Auburn, so you should be fine.

Sounds good. Any other input/school suggestions?

Anyone…?

Why don’t you try University of Nevada at Las Vegas and Johnson & Wales, RI? They are both good schools.

I’m also applying to UNLV, but as far as JWU goes, I’ve been around the campus a lot and couldn’t see myself attending the school. Nothing against the school, the campus just isn’t for me. Also, I’m looking to attend a school in a different part of the country (somewhere warm preferably).

youll get in , its almost guaranteed for texas tech

Thanks for all the input, I’ll review your thread shortly, morganmkm. I am considering submitting an application to Florida State, would that be a complete waste of money or do I have a shot?

I think it is worth a shot. It sounds tight, definitely not impossible.

Like mbb191 said, it wouldn’t be impossible, I’ve seen people with worse stats than you get in, although they applied early and were in-state
