What do you guys think?

Match for NYU, WashU, Skidmore, GWU, probably a couple of those UCs (you’re in-state, right?). low match for BU, low-mid reach for Tufts, Emory, Claremont McKenna, high reach for UNC but who isn’t lol. Good luck!

Maybe irrelevant but, in New England, Wash U is typically more difficult to get into than Tufts

I dont know if ill be in state but im a permanent resident from California but I didnt attend high school there. Also what do you think about USC? P.S- I thought WashU was basically unattainable for me.

@drummergirl no idea where you get that idea from. One can only assume that since Tufts’ acceptance rate of 14% is lower that WashU’s 16%, Tufts is more difficult to get into. I don’t believe either schools publish statistics of admittance per region.

I shouldn’t comment here at all as I have a major issue with the whole chancing exercise (I think Naviance is misleading as well). And there’s plenty of info that suggests reported acceptance rates are often not much more than marketing strategies. I think the focus on statistics - whether the student’s or the school’s - is flawed. But, in my limited experience with public high schools in Massachusetts, Wash U is more difficult to get into than Tufts.

@drummergirl I have heard the same about WashU, also what do you think about my chances at USC and the other colleges?
