That's it! I plan on doing pre-med, the schools i want to be chanced on mostly are:

UCLA
UCSD
Georgetown
University of Rochester
Cornell
University of Miami
Boston University

Thanks!

I would definitely say in at BU, Miami, and Rochester! I don’t know too much about the others, but enough to know that UCLA, Georgetown, and Cornell are going to be reaches for everyone. You’re ACT and SAT were awesome, just continue to keep up the good work on your GPA!

If i choose to apply early decision, should i pick University of Miami, BU, or Rochester?

Senior Year schedule:

AP Art Hist.
AP Physics
AP Calc. A/B
AP Spanish
AP Lang.

Your stats look pretty good, just make sure your trend stays up.

UCLA - High Match/low reach
UCSD - Match
Georgetown - High Match
University of Rochester - Match
Cornell - Reach
University of Miami - Match
Boston University - Match

I don’t know enough about the others to chance you, but for Rochester you’re way above average, so I think you’ll have no problem getting in RD there. Grats on the great test scores!

By the way, Rochester superscores the ACT (not sure about the SAT) so you might actually have a 36 if you happened to take the ACT more than once.

Holy Cross near Boston has great pre-med. HC is similar to Georgetown.

Early Decision applications are binding and you agree to withdraw all other applications if accepted. You are a viable RD candidate at Miami, Rochester and BU (probably a safety), so unless you are truly “in love” with one of them, I see no value in limiting/eliminating your other college options by applying ED.

Hmm, so i should apply to more competitive colleges then?

Any recommendations for great pre-med programs? I honestly am clueless lol

Bump 10 chars

You said you’re at a CA school, so I can pretty much guarantee you’ll be in at UCLA/UCSD.

Also, yes, UC GPA is only calculated using sophomore and junior years.
And that’s probably not gonna get you any “upward trend”. Sophomore year GPA is typically lower than Junior year because Juniors take more APs and Honors.

Stats look good, make sure you stay in all those clubs/organizations through your senior year. I think you should take a look at some higher caliber schools though.

UCLA - Match
UCSD - In
Georgetown - In
Cornell - Match / Slight reach
Boston University - In

Holy Cross was founded by the Jesuits from Georgetown U back in 1843 so very similar schools and philosophy.
