Chance at UCSB?!

<p>UCSB is my dream school! I went there for the spring insight and absolutely love it. I want to do whatever it takes to get into that school. I also really like SDSU. What are my chances at UCSB? And I want to take on a career in the medical field due to a past experience, so what are some of the medical related(possibly nursing) majors offered and our different majors harder to get into?
My GPA with just the a-g courses is about a 3.73 or 3.76
I'm hoping to get a 2000 on my SAT (I've been taking practice tests and have been getting around 1800's) </p>

<p>EC's: i work, my mom and I opened two stores on our own so I'm very busy with that, I played soccer soph and freshman year and was captain 1 year, i helped coach a soccer team, babysitting, honor roll all three years, 100% math cahsee test
Volunteer: i was a science contest judge, campus clean up, toys for tots, and others that i can't think of but i will be doing a lot of volunteer work this summer hopefully</p>

<p>Isn’t SDSU easier to get into though? Why would my match be low for that school and higher for UCSB?</p>

<p>Well each school within the university has their additional requirements depending on what major you are planning to go in! I would go onto their websites and look at the prospective student sections and they might list some requirements that you need to meet! Hope this helps!</p>
