I want to skip the freshman year by passing my AP tests,so i do not need financial aid.

So chance...?

Is your GPA weighted or unweighted? The contrast between your GPA and your SAT is really striking…like you SAT is awesome for UNC, that needs no work obviously. I just kinda wonder about the GPA and I’m sure they would too.

well considering that you wrote about your gpa in your essays…i’m sure they’ll understand…i think you have a pretty decent shot.

UNC is need blind, so your financial aid status will have no bearing on admissions (and I would recommend that you apply for it if you get in because they are 2nd to none when it comes to need-based-aid.) Your SAT is amazing, but your GPA is very low for OSS. If you write an excellent essay explaining it (so long as it is not a whiny excuse giving essay) I think you might have a shot.

How about a kid with a 3.5 unweighted gpa, 2100 SAT, OOS, BC calc, APchem, APBio, APUSH, APLit, APEcon, APGov, 4 yrs. of language, through Honors Spanish 4.

Trying to figure out the highest ranking business school he might qualify for.
