Chance At Williams College please

Hello! Please chance me for Williams College!

GPA: As of right now it is a 4.5 unweighted- I am expecting it to be around a 4.7 or 4.8 by the end of the year.

Senior Schedule: AP French, Physics, Concert Choir, Wind Ensemble, AP English, AP Biology, Statistics Honors, VHS Pre-veterinary Honors.

I have taken five science lab courses over my high school years: Biology H, Chem H, Anatomy H, Physics, and AP Bio. I have also taken VHS Pre-vet H. and Zoology H.

SATs: All in the mid-600's, but I took them again recently and will post my new scores once I find out what they are!

I have two very strong recommendations, and I am planning on doing an interview.

Extra curriculars:
I play French Horn in the wind ensemble, Baritone Saxophone in the Community Band, and Clarinet in the Marching Band. I am the Clarinet Section Leader.

I have participated in the auditioned : District, All-State, and All-Eastern Chorus.
I have also participated in the auditioned: New England Conservatory Youth Chorale, Assabet Valley Mastersingers, and Chamber Singers.

I have done two musicals and have had speaking roles in both.

I am on the varsity indoor and outdoor track teams, I started for the first time last year, and got 5'00" in High Jump, and 8'6" in Pole Vault. I qualified for Districts in both, and placed second at the league meet for High Jump.

I am a competitive horseback rider, and won Reserve Champion for the Pre-Green Division at AHAM.

I am the Vice President of Moot Court Club, YouLead (students against substance abuse- I helped bring this club to the school a few years ago), and the VP of National Beta Club. I am also on the Honor Roll and in the French Honors Society.

Thank you!

Mid 600’s are not going to cut it. 700 on each section would be a minimum before you would be competitive for Williams.

Hopefully I do better this time around then (although a few people got in from my school with mid-600’s to 700’s)!

I also forgot to mention that I have had private voice lessons and private diction/vocal coaching for the past five years.
