I acutally didn't plan on applying for harvard until now because I didn't think I had a realistic chance, but hey what the heck :)

I would really appreciate some honest opinions

Asian/Female blah :(
GPA-4.4W
SAT-2290 (on the low harvard end?)
SAT IIs-800, 790, and 770

Classes: hardest (5 APs junior and senior year, 2 APs sophomore year)

Activities: A lot of science related activities
A few leadership stuff here and there

Recs-should be pretty good
Essay-pretty good, nothing super amazing though

Awards: lots of regional/state
waiting for intel results!!! :D

Hook?: I have been doin research at caltech for the past 3 years, so the professor wrote me a letter of rec and it is pretty amaizng ;)

Also, I did research over the summer at a UC. Since harvard permit 2 extra letters of recommendtaion, how wise is it to have both be from a professor for research? or is recommended to have a little bit more of variety?
