<p>Ummm.....great SAT scores, but not so hot on the gpa. Whats up with that? I dont do chances, so I dont know. But I need more info.</p>
<p>I did terrible freshmen year and got a 2.6 or something thanks to a D in Spanish.</p>

<p>I dont speak for Fordham admissions. I dont know how they will view that. Anecdotally, schools like any improvement in an upward trend. Your SAT scores are very high but your gpa is low by comparison to the SAT.....there is a mismatch there. Highly unusual. However, stuff happens. Generally Fordham looks for 3.6 and up. Depends of course on the rigor of your coursework and how competitive your school is and any exceptional circumstances. </p>
<p>I wont say you are in or out. I just simply dont know. For certain, you MUST do VERY well in your grades SENIOR year. My guess is that you do get in. Apply early and show them your high interest. </p>
