Chance for an international student - UT Austin and Texas A&M

Hey,

I'm from India and I've applied to Computer science as my first choice major and unspecified business as my second. If it makes a difference, my dad lives in Texas and for tuition purposes, I will be instate from July 2015. My test scores and credentials are as follows

SAT I - 2100 (M+CR - 1400) ( M-710, CR - 680, W - 710)

TOEFL iBT - 114/120

10th grade marks - 80%
11th grade marks - 83%
12th grade half yearly marks - 91%

Extracurriculars -

100+ hours of community service.

Represented my high school at various levels playing soccer, volleyball, and cricket.

Won honorable mention at Faunus 2013. (environmental conference.)

Participated in CBITMUN 2013 (Model United Nations)

Completed the Stanford CS101 course with a 100% grade.

Dude you’re a decent applicant…Texas A&M should be easy to get into…UT Austin would be tough as CS is a difficult branch to get into…I would say you have a good shot though

Thanks for the input. I understand A&M is easier and I’ve applied there too. I realize CS at UT Austin is competetive but when you say I have a good shot, do you mean you think I’ll mostly get in or there’s just as much of a chance of them rejecting me as there is of them accepting me. I was hoping the sat score would help.
