In my college essay there is a paragraph saying how NU will fit for me.
Dad was an alumni and graduated with suma com latta

EC-
Ice hockey 3 years
Lacrosse fresh year JV
future business leaders of America 3 years
supervisor at job
Feedback would be MUCH appreciated

O and my school is considered a "blue ribbon" school if that means anything..

I'm really stressing about this so if someone (who has some information about NEU) can respond back to me id really really appreciate it

My son is a sophmore who was accepted into the business program with lower stats than yours so, don't despair. He made Dean's List his first semester, so he's obviously handling the course material just fine.

Keep pushing hard, and work on raisng your GPA and SAT scores as best you can. Show interest in the school by your personal visits and correspondences. They do make a difference.
You may also want to consider taking the ACT- some kids seem to perform better and score higher than the SATs.

yaa ive considered it but i think im too late at this far in the game, im working on my essay having NU incorporated into it to show interest, i have taken about 3 visits to their with a "informal interview" which was b.s, i was emailed an application with a NU supplement, is that a sign of their interest in me or just a genorsoity which should just be seen as "ur on their wating list"

any other opinions?

Our s is a middler who had much lower GPA, but higher test scores & several AP tests with 4s. He was accepted with merit aid. The fact that you have a father who is an alum is probably a good plus. If you're out of the Boston geographic area, that might also help. As the other parent posted, I would highly recommend that you try the ACT -- it's probably not too late to take it and many do better on that than the SATs.

im applying for early decision since it increases chances of merit and getting in, still think its not to late? (not being sarcastic)

ED doesn't help your chances and some can argue that it lowers your chances of getting aid.

is it too late for me to take the ACT's?
