Um not sure i want to go into medicine but i dont want to do a science major. People tell me that u dont have to do a a bio major to go to med school. i was thinking comp sci and minor in pysch because i want to kinda combine computers with medicine in my future career or fall back onto computers @TimforCS
Not good enough for Stanford in my opinion. Where is the intellectual vitality? UCB will be a high reach. The others I don’t know about.
it says my uc gpa is 3.96
If you plan to major in CS which is very competitive and acceptance rates at some of the schools is around 10%.
Stanford: High Reach
UCB: Reach
SLO/UCSD: Low Reach
UCD/UCSB: High Match
UCR: Low Match/Safety
CPP: Safety
If you write some outstanding essays, these could help your chances at the UC’s.
thank you @Gumbymom . this really helps
You shouldn’t have any trouble with any CSU other than SLO (which could go either way). You have a very good shot at UCD and UCSB but, i bet only one takes you (they are finicky). UCR is very likely to admit you.
UC Santa Cruz should also be on your list…
Good luck.
