Also Gtech and Berkeley are low reaches / reaches

I can relate to you on the family emergencies taking a toll on your high school career! I think that you have a really good shot at all of the schools you are applying to. One of my good friends had stats really similar to yours and applied to Berkley almost jokingly and he’s now been there as a student for two years! It just goes to show that no matter what, colleges see you as a potential student when you apply and you just have to show them that you can bring something unique that other students can’t. That being said- make sure you have strong essays!

@outofstategirl @bboy219 Thanks guys!

I think you are def going to get into UT Austin and A&M. UCSD and UCI are a match. You are a competitive applicant!
UCLA and Berkeley are a little harder to get in but I think you have a good shot. Great Job! Good luck! :)

Yeah, your credentials are AMAZING! You have nothing to worry about, I would be surprised if any of these schools declined you. I do agree with TheIntergration your unweighted GPA is great, but not as good as your weighted one. But, how could anyone really say that because weighted GPA’s are always higher. I think you’ll be fine, which one is your number one?

@4everVol UT is my dream school!

Then you should be fine!!

Thanks a lot :)

hey thanks for chancing me! you should be good to go for most of those schools… I only know a lot about California schools, but your scores are good… the only slightly negative aspect of your app would be the 620 on physics, but sat ii is usually just value added anyway.

thanks!

I think you have a pretty good chance into getting into most of the schools. Your UW GPA is a little low for UCB and UCLA like some people before said, but you have a great list of EC’s and test scores, so that should help. With good personal statements you should be fine.

Good luck! I hope for the best! and thanks for chancing me

no problem! :)

You sound really strong- especially for the UCs, since you’re out of state. You also seem to be really interested in what you do, so that should probably help, as well.

Chance me back?

UT-Austin, --likely
A&M, --safety
GTech,–match
UCSD–unsure
UC-Irvine–match
UCLA–low reach
UC-Berkeley–reach

Chance back? http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1707482-please-chance-for-cs-cornell-uiuc-rice-etc.html#latest

Thanks guys, I have chanced back!

Hey guys, I just received the awards for football today. I got academic all-state team and academic all-district. Will this be good for colleges? Is it important?

bump!! :)

bumpity bump bump! i’ll chance back!

our physics score is not worth much for subjects. Overall you are ok in terms of EC’s. Your scores should not be that much of an issue. Berkely might be a reach, but everything else should be within your range.
