Chance for direct freshman admission into biochem major?

<p>I am a high school junior but at my current rate of progress I expect my stats to be approximately:</p>

<p>Are those your actual or expected test scores? Those are obviously phenomenal if true, and I would think you’d be in.</p>

<p>The SAT score is real. I already have 5 AP scores (4 5s and 1 4), and judging from my performance in my AP classes this year, I’m well on track to those predicted AP scores (haha, that 3 is going to be French…) and all of my classes are above 95%, with 5 of them above 97 at the moment, so I’m pretty sure that my GPA is going to be near my predictions. Possibly a bit lower if I slip up, but still fairly high.</p>

<p>I think you’d be a very, very competitive applicant. Perhaps you can touch on the idea of going into biochem (career ideas?) in one of your essays. Unless I’m mistaken, the biochem department will look through your entire application to find the most promising applicants to accept as direct admits.</p>

<p>I don’t see you having a problem getting a direct admit to any department here at UW.</p>
