Chance me for UW-Seattle Biochem major

In light of this year's very harsh acceptances I would like everyone to chance me for next year's admissions as well as direct admit into the Biochem major..

SAT I: 2310 (800 R, 780 M, 750 W)
SAT II: 800 Math II, 720 Chem, 730 Literature
AP scores: World History (5), Chemistry (5), Physics B (4), Computer Science A (5), Calculus AB (5), for junior year APs I predict 6x5 and 1x4
GPA: 4.0 UW, >4.6 W
Class rank: #4 right now, might go up later
Location: instate at top public
Senior year courseload: I'm planning on Differential Equations + 4 APs + 2 other miscellaneous classes
ECs: Math Club, Robotics Club, volunteering (100+ hours) at the UW Medical Center, Piano
Ethnicity: Chinese
Gender: Male
Income bracket: 150k+

I know the SAT II Chem score is a bit weak.. I made a bad decision and took it without studying. I will retake as soon as I can over senior year after studying over the summer. Poor planning on my part... I know I can get 800, definitely (took some practice tests after the AP Chem test and consistently got -2 at most, I've just forgotten a lot and stupidly didn't take it when I still could remember stuff). Literature I'm afraid is probably a lost cause, though. I will take Bio-M as well.

I'm also planning on contacting professors about starting research during senior year.

Also, I'm a bit confused--does UW even look at subject test scores?

No, UW doesn’t look at subject test scores.

And you’re going to get in, guaranteed.

I’ve honestly been getting really worried recently, though, with that article about the valedictorian getting rejected and with the general increase in what appears to be college selectivity this year. I’m a bit apprehensive about just believing that this will be enough…

Have you compared your stats with the people who have been denied? Unless you do something funny on your personal statement you can just sit back and relax. If anything, you should be worried about getting into some respected out-of-state schools given that you seem to have the income to afford the tuition.

What do you do for fun?

Do you go to newport?

Valedictorians are being rejected, yes. However, please take all news articles with a grain of salt. It didn’t indicate the 4.0 student’s SAT score, extra curriculars, or even have a snippet of the essay, which is a make or break in most cases. A lot of high schools around here do inflate grades, while some are harder than others to get a 4.0 at. UW knows these local schools and will take that into consideration.

Write an awesome essay. Then you’re in.
