Chance for Duke, Yale, etc..

Harvard, Yale, Princeton, Duke, UChicago, UPenn, Cornell, John Hopkins, Stanford, Columbia, UF, and more. Here are his stats:</p>

Your friend isn’t that different from an average Ivy League applicant. His first-generation status may help him out, but in the end, these colleges are still a reach for him. Also, could your friend explain his reasons for applying to almost every single Ivy League?</p>

<p>^Agreed. He’s definitely a qualified candidate, but no one on CC can, with certainty, tell you what’ll happen behind those admissions office doors. Good luck though!</p>

<p>He has an amazing resume, and solid chances at all those schools. However, they are the best schools in the country and you have to realize he isn’t a lock at all of them except UF. That said, he will probably get into a little over 1/2 of them. Good Luck! Obviously a hard worker who had the odds against him.</p>
