Hi, I was wondering if Yale and Columbia are realistic options for me. I would apply to Yale Early Action and Columbia regular decision. My stats are:

SAT: 2220: 700R, 720M, 800W.

1 in my class out of 209.

My school does NOT offer AP/IB. I have however taken the most rigorous curriculum possible, including an independent study in quantum mechanics and a college-level calculus 3/4 course.

My letters of recommendation will be glowing... I don't mean to toot my own horn, but they will be very positive.

I am taking the November subject tests and have consistently scored 750 on Math 2 and Lit. practice tests.

I have tons of extracurriculars including National Honors Society, Robotics club (co-leader of build team) and a college level big band jazz course.

I am an extremely advanced composer. Again, I don't want to be conceded, but I know I am at a very high level. I was part of an exclusive class with a State symphony last fall and had a piece performed by world class musicians.

I will be applying for Music and Physics at these schools.

I am incredibly nervous. I think I have what it takes to be a part of these schools but I am not confident about getting in at all.
