what’d you get on PSAT?

on the PSAT’s i got a 200/240

You got a 200 and your saying likely 2200+? Better start studying. Ecs are pretty good and im sure your class schedule is fine but it will definitely come down to your essays and recs. If you come off as arrogant thats a straight Reject.

and PS 750k-1M? Jeezus you could by your way into anyschool

Lol na I don’t think my parents would do that. I really am not arrogant, but I really did not put that much effort into those, I know big mistake, but I’ve been preparing for the SAT’s since Freshmen year

You did not take the Sats yet - therefore it is physically impossible to give you a chance. Psats mean nothing. I know someone who got a 220 on the psats and only an 1800 on the Sats. My close friend also bombed the psats - he got something like a 160, but ended up getting a 2000 on the Sats.

Not only that, but I see nothing about you that stands out, accept your families income. Lets put it this way - someone in my school got a 2380 on the Sats, 4.0 unweighted GPA, 6.5 weighted GPA, placed in nationals at nearly every academic competition and music competition, and got rejected from MIT, Yale, and Princeton.

So from your stats, especially stats that lack an SAT and a PSAT that is very good but not nearly at the ivy level, I would say your chances are bad

I kind of disagree with sidthekid. Your EC’s are incredible, although it would definitely help for schools like Princeton and Yale if you had something extra that made you stand out. However, my best friend was accepted to Emory this year ED, and although she had great scores and EC’s, there was nothing about her that really stood out, either. I’m pretty sure her SAT was also around a 2200. So, assuming you reach a score around that number, i think you’ve got a pretty good shot at Emory and UChicago. Vandy I’m not so sure.

Isn’t being a SAG and AFTRA member unique?
I’ve been on Sesame Street, campbells soup commercials, mutual fund commercials, Martha Stewart magazine…
