Teacher Recs: APUSH and English teacher. Both really like me. I’ve had my English Teacher for 2 years and when I asked her, she said that she was going to offer to write me one. My US History teacher already wrote me a letter of rec for a summer program and apparently, it was great (I got in despite applying a week late). I also got an award for achievement in US History so I know she likes me.
Essays: I have a few essays completed and I think that they are pretty good. I had admissions officers from Swarthmore and Hopkins read them and they said that my essays were really good.

You’re competitive. That’s all that can be said with regard to your chances. No one can guarantee anything to you. I think you should add a true safety like a CSU. UC Irving is a good school that you probably will get into, but it’s still worth it to have a few options if your reaches don’t work out. If you have any questions about applying to Northwestern, feel free to check out the thread I made! I would love to help you out.
