I am a rising senior living in India and was wondering if you guys could chance me. I attend the top private school in the country and it is highly competitive

Volunteered at a school for the underprivileged and taught them basic maths and science (150 hrs)

Wow, an applicant going for schools that are good for his/her major instead of a college list taken straight from the US News rankings? Are you real?

Stanford is difficult to predict, but you’ve got a chance. I think you should get in at most of the other schools, and you’re virtually a lock anyplace you’ve been recruited.

Assuming you are from OOS, UMich LSA would be a high match.

I say NYU or JHU is where you’re most likely to get in.

You are admitable at the top schools in your list (Stanford, Johns Hopkins, Ivys) but they also turn down a lot of kids with your your good scores and background. Still apply, but higher probability of getting in at the next tier, especially where you can play sports (BC, Colgate, Villa, etc.), all very very good schools.
