Chance for MBA

Hello! I currently go to the University of Maryland (College Park campus) and I am an econ and comp sci major. My current gpa is a 3.0

Do you think that is too low to get into a good graduate business program?

Yes. You need to bring your grades up substantially or have something else that really distinguishes you in a positive way.

Honestly, the MBA advisors can have some wiggle room depending on the school. Usually, a 3.0 is the minimum, but a high GMAT score might offset the low GPA. I think the GMAT is more weighted than GPA. I got into the University of South Florida with a 3.26, so it really depends on the school.

what kind of ECs do they look for? What outside of high GMAT and GPA makes for an excellent candidate? work experience?
