Chance for me in getting admitted into an Ivy League school? (International Student)

Thank you very much for your help.

It is extremely difficult for anyone to be admitted to the schools on your list. No one can predict your chances. I know that isn’t what you hoped to hear, but it is the plain and simple truth.

What do you expecting us to say? If we say YES, would you feel better?

Perhaps what I am mostly trying to ask is if my profile is good enough to get admitted into one of these schools, not my chance. Sorry about that.

Yes. Will my answer to that question would make you feel better?

Your SAT is lower than average for the ivys and is going to lower your chances significantly for all of them.

You are right. My SAT scores only fit the average of Cornell’s student’s scores. Thanks for your answer.

Yea sorry :(. Your highest chance would be at Cornell though since they don’t look at SAT writing.

No problem, I am aware that my SAT scores are not that high. I wanted to take it again to get a 2100 or more but I did not get the chance to do it.

It would be great if someone else could give me his or her opinion.

The schools you listed are EXTREMELY unlikely for ANYONE to be admitted to. Students with perfect test scores, perfect GPAs, and life-long devotion to outstanding extra-curricular activities are routinely rejected.

We don’t have a way to evaluate your essays and recommendations, nor have you shared what you plan to study, and why you feel the schools you have applied to are the best fit for you.

Not saying you won’t be admitted to one (or more), but hopefully you have applied to some less-selective schools as well.

APPLY AND FIND OUT. I can never understand why one candidate asks other candidates to assess their applications. Seriously. Do you think there are hidden admissions officers on this forum?

Also, why don’t you visit one of the Ivy League universities and talk to their students. Get the facts directly from a reliable source.
