Chance for RD after Deferral

Hi! I would really appreciate anyone's thoughts on the subject. I won't get offended! I appled ED1 to WashU and was deferred. What do you guys think my chances are for RD?

Stats:
School: Competitive private school in Southern California, very well known
GPA: 3.91 W, 3.67 UW
SAT1: 2140 SAT, 680 CR, 760 W, 700 M
SAT2: 660 Bio-M, 740-Literature, 740- Math 2C
AP Classes- AP Bio, AP French Language, AP English Language, AP Physics B, AP French Literatire, AP English Literature
Awards: National Merit Commendation, Grand Concours 2006- 4th place nationally, Honor Roll all 4 years of high school, National French Honor Society Inductee

Extra Curricular Activities

Singing- over 7 years of vocal training. I sent a CD in with two songs, one classical, one broadway.
Advanced Chamber Singers- Alto Section Leader
Advanced Jazz Choir (award winning group)
Peer Support Program- Group Leader, program coordinator
Working in hospitals the past two summers for medical experience
Leader of Community Singers- a community service project where a group of singers goes and sings at elderly homes and for underprivileged children during the summer and around holidays. It's fun :)
National Youth Leadership Foundation on Medicine at UCLA

Essays: Pretty good. I revised them after I got deferred so they are actually quite different from the rest of my colleges. Probably not as good as the new ones, which sort of sucks.
Recomendations: Very, very good. I saw one of them, it was great!
Interview: Uch, didn't go too well. I was uncomfortable because I was being interviewed by someone who was only one year older than me and it felt sort of weird. I wish i had been interviewed by an adult!!

Anyways, I showed SO MUCH interest in WashU it's rediculous. I know they are a school that values interest and I really really showed them it's my first choice. WashU in infamous at my school because they waitlist EVERYONE who applies RD. I'm not expecting much at this point and I have some other schools I am excited about. Looking at this board, everyone here is very honest and has good things to say so I thought I might ask. If you get a chance, let me know what you think. Thank you!

I wish I could help, but I am in the exact same situation that you are. I was deferred from ED and now am anxiously waiting for a decision from WashU. My SATs are very close to yours, and my GPA is an UW 4.0. I am also a URM, yet I still was deferred.

For your situation I would say that you will probably get admitted as long as you have kept in contact with them. The adcoms seem to love that.

Good Luck! (to you and me)
