Chance for Tulane

Not to be one of "those" people, but I am applying to Tulane and would just like to get an idea of what my chances are like. Thanks!

-I am an IB diploma candidate
-3.9 unweighted GPA; school doesn't do weighted
-top 10% of my class (suburban public school very competitive, class of almost 500)
-SAT reading 750, math 690, writing 730 = 2170 overall
-I qualified for DECA nationals for 2 years in a row; State Champion sophomore year and 4th-place at state junior year
-VP of community creative writing club where I help teach writing lessons to younger students
-Secretary of my hometown's youth government board
-I have been employed at the same place since my sophomore year
-significant community service; worked in summer school classrooms helping elementary schoolers for 3-4 weeks every summer for 3 summers; junior counselor for 4 weeks at a camp last summer; I have volunteer-tutored elementary schoolers every week since freshman year
-I was selected as HOBY ambassador from my school in 10th grade
-Student Trustee at my hometown's schools foundation: I represent my school at events, attend board meetings and am learning a lot about how nonprofit businesses work
-I love writing and consider myself a strong writer
-I am from Washington state

It appears that you have the stats to get into Tulane. Have you showed interest? Did you submit the “Why Tulane” essay? Have you visited the school or a local meeting with the rep?

I only became really interested this fall so I haven’t visited; I live outside of Seattle, also, so not exactly an easy trip haha! I have the online application because I got credentials in the mail. I have not submitted my application yet but I am definitely answering the Why Tulane essay. I have done a lot of research on the school and especially with the personality of New Orleans, I am really excited at the possibility of acceptance at Tulane. Thanks!
