Chances? Early Action 2021

I’m a high school senior at a college prep private school which is very competitive. Tulane is my top choice and I love the state of Louisiana. My mom’s family is in state and I wrote a strong why Tulane essay incorporating this. I’m half mexican as well as a double navy brat.
Stats:
1250 New sat
28 ACT, most likely won’t send
GPA: 91.5/100 (School doesn’t rank)
Course rigor: 1 AP sophomore year, 3 junior year, 5 senior year as well as being a year ahead in math (I got bumped up in middle school, but they weren’t honors classes).
EC’s:
Sailing, Crew (captain 2 yrs), member of the school ambassadors (help with admissions), NHS, NEHS, model UN, Quiz bowl, girls on the run coach (community service, an after school program that talks about hard issues lower school girls will face in middle school ex. bullying, body issues, changing emotions, while also encouraging fitness), co president of ALS Awareness, volunteer at food bank in Louisiana for a couple of summers for a significant amount of hours, i’m in town for a month every year

Awards (a little weak):
Excellence in Art Foundations
Excellence in Pottery
Community service awards (3 yrs)

I really love Tulane but I know that my gpa and scores weaken my application, I’m hoping the school will be able to recognize that the rigor is the reason it’s low. I’ve also expressed interest with 2 campus tours and emailed my admissions counselor. Thanks for the feedback!

@hg2021

Not a slam dunk, but I think your chances are pretty decent. Your stats are in the lower 25% but still within range, and your do have 9 APs so a very rigorous schedule, a big plus. Since Tulane is your top choice, I would apply ED. I think that would improve your chances.

Wanted to follow up that I was accepted!

@hg2021 My son got his acceptance today. Congrats to you.
