Major: Applied Math
Alternate: Physics
CC GPA: 3.08, should be 3.2 for OVERALL by the end of fall (transferring from CSU)
Transferring as junior

Physics Club at CC

Rocket Club at CC

Took honors courses at CC

Was in the honors society at CC (probably won't include this cuz I hated it)

Been working on essays. They'll probably turn out pretty decent.

Will join a few clubs (most likely Physics Club and Rose Float) at the start of the semester. I was also considering become a math tutor, but that'd be after I applied (going to take 20 units this fall).

All major pre-req's completed and a semester's worth of upper-divison coursework major courses at CSU (likely a 4.0 GPA).

Reasons for transferring:
- Don't like the school, period. Got a bad vibe.
- Not eligible for AFROTC program because I didn't apply in time, so I could apply in time in April because I want to become an officer.
- Bus shuttle runs to Berkeley for AFROTC and I can take some summer classes there.
- Better research opportunities as there's not really any here (unless you're a minority, which I am not).
- Rent/housing is cheaper.
- College-town.
- Bike friendly campus so I won't have to commute and they have transfer housing.
- Can double major (cannot double major anymore at my CSU).
- Smarter students.
- Adviser said it'd take 3-4 years from the time I transferred to graduate at the CSU, so definitely looking to transfer out to somewhere I'd enjoy.
