Chance for Vanderbilt/NYU/Mich

Alright, I'm not gonna provide too much information but would love some feedback.

By the end of senior year, I will have taken 8 AP's:
AP World (5)
AP US (Probably 5)
AP Euro
AP Calc BC
AP Spanish
AP English 12
AP Statistics (Probably 4/5)
AP Biology (Probably 5)

I received an SAT score of 2360. I essentially have a 4.0 GPA, more like 3.95 probably.
A few clubs, however no real leadership position.

In terms of community service, I don't have much. However, I will most likely be doing some sort of cancer research this summer and will be helping at a senior center.

Assuming at the least decent recommendations and decent essays, what are my chances for Vandy/NYU/Mich?

Would any of them be considered safeties for me? Does anyone have any suggestions for safeties that have decent/good business schools?

Someone help please :o

I think NYU would be a guaranteed safety. They’re big on the test scores. But Vanderbilt and Mich are likely as well.

Definite in at NYU and Michigan, probably for Vandy, too.

was about to scroll off this thread until I realized the OP had asked for business safeties…while I think he/she has a good shot at Stern and Ross, as well as Vandy, they are certainly not safeties for the business schools…

Kelley at Indiana is certainly a safety…

BC Carroll school of management. Undergrad business schools are kinda overrated though, better off going to a top college and majoring in Econ/finance or even computer science or engineering.

Alright, thanks everyone for their input!

@patriotsfan1,

Would BC Carroll be considered a safety?

@magentaturtle vanderbilt is definitely not a likely. It is a reach for nearly everyone who applies and with your stats I would certainly not consider vandy an easy acceptance. Perhaps you should consider your state university if looking for a safety.
