^ by the way, how can you get state’s decision soo soon? Did you apply ED? and is that binding?

I don’t really know if it will affect your application… I know that UNC doesn’t consider your intended major (they say they only use it for assigning you an advisor if you’re admitted), but I don’t know if that means they don’t look at it at all. If I go to UNC, I’d major in Public Policy… for some reason it’s not listed as a choice in their application (even though they definitely have it as a major) and when I e-mailed them about it, they said not to worry… so I put the next closest thing (political science).

They like me that much? lol No. I applied for their first EA deadline (Oct. 18th or so). I don’t think many, if any, of the UNC-system schools have ED… though A&T might. State’s pretty much my safety; it’ll provide a lot of relief if I can already know in December that I’ve been admitted somewhere that I would be happy attending.

yea, I don’t think a lot of ppl applied Oct deadline from my school. But they did early for UNCC.

Anyways…funny how the conversation completely took off course from Vandy. Sorry V-students.

Anymore advice? I would really appreciate it before I get cracking at my Vanderbilt application.

Thanks! :D

haha you had me worried cuz i thought you were talking about the supplement. but yeah anyways make sure your essay tells about who you are and not just about why you didn’t do well in chemistry. worst case scenario don’t send them those scores. im not sending any SAT II until I get my scores back and know that i have a good percentile rank.

good luck!
