I am currently a junior in a rural high school (middle of nowhere so its not the most competitive school) and will most likely apply early decision to Vanderbilt. My GPA is a 4.2 weighted and my course load has been pretty rigorous; I took AP Bio sophomore year (5 on test), as well as honors Algebra II, World literature, Global studies, and college prep Spanish IV. This year I am taking 3 APs, English, U.S. History, and Physics B, and honors Pre calc, and chemistry. Senior year I am going to take AP Calc, AP Chemistry, and honors Anatomy and physiology, computer science and creative writing or mythology. Every year I also took either an art class or a technical class. I am also ranked 12th out of 235 (about top 5%)
PSAT scores ranked me in the top 95 percentile, but I haven't taken the real SATs yet (I know its important, my goal is 2100)

Any advice on how I can increase my chances with either trying to improve my academics or my EC would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.
