Chance for Wellesly, Smith, Amherst, Oberlin? Will chance back.

Applying ED to Smith, and then if I don't get into there, ND to Wellesley, Amherst, and Oberlin. I'd also apply to some safeties and targets (assuming I don't get into Smith ED), but I'm not concerned about chances for them.

Up you go.

It’s pretty clear that your passion is writing. If I were you, I would go more in depth about your love of writing in your essays. That way, adcoms can get a feel for how you will contribute to their colleges. I think you have a pretty solid shot at Wellesly, Smith, and Oberlin, Amherst might be a reach just because of their sheer selectiveness.

my english teacher is the founder of polyphony HS(: awesome magazine, awesome guy!

Whaaat I’m so jealous. Lombardo seems awesome.
Are you planning on joining the mag?

And thank you smalltownguy!

Oh, and I just want to add that I know these are all reaches, so no one should feel bad or anything about telling me that. I just want to know how much of a reach you think they are. Amherst I know is just kind of a funny idea, but Smith perhaps?

Everything looks solid.

Woot, thanks. I’m not seeing a “What are my chances” thread for you, do you have one or want to post something on here?
Haha I feel guilty not doing something for you.

I’m not looking to be chanced at the moment, but thanks for the offer.
