chance for wesleyan ed II please!

so i go to a private quaker boarding school that i know for a fact wesleyan admisisons is extremely familiar with and has very high respect for. this is by far my first choice school, and the only thing that is keeping me from applying ed I is that i want my first term senior grades to be taken into account. so, here goes:

sex: female
race: white/quaker

SAT I -- CR 670, Math 570, Writing 710 (8 on the essay)
^^probably not going to bother submitting my sat scores at all
ACT -- 29 (10 on the essay)

my school doesn't offer honors or ap's, but by the end of my high school career i will have taken 5 advanced classes (alg 1 adv, geometry adv, bio 2 adv, writing seminar adv, and religion & social chance adv).

weighted gpa: 3.57 (my school doesn't actually calculate gpa or class rank, but that's the gpa that i figured out). i didn't extremely mediocre in 9th grade (mostly b's), but i've definitely had an upward trend (all a's junior year) that i hope to continue senior year.

EC's:
Philanthropy Club (11, 12 -- co-head 12th grade)
Quaker Leadership Program (9, 10, 11, 12)
Library Proctor (10, 11, 12)
Violin & Viola in Chamber Orchestra (9, 10, 11, 12)
Violin in Select Orchestra (11, 12 --wasn't previously offered)
JV Tennis (9, 10, 11 -- captain 11th grade)
V Tennis (12 -- hopefully captain, but not definite)
V Softball (11, 12)
Planning committee for two Community Education Days (something my school does, like a non-traditional education day)

my big thing is volunteering that i did last summer and will do this summer on the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation in South Dakota. i was involved in the planning and participated in this trip and it was a semi big deal locally. this summer we're returning for two weeks and then going back to d.c. with some members of the reservation to talk about the issues --> possible essay topic

Recommendations: i already know i'm asking my history teacher from this year to write one because she told me how she could explain how i didn't take an advanced history because i was really interested in her class (latin american history) and how i made the class advanced for myself by going above and beyond expectations. the other one will either be my bio 2 teacher or an english teacher, not sure yet, but should be good because it's easy to get to know your teachers well at my school.

sorry if this is super long, but i would really appreciate any feedback! i think i would make a really good fit at wesleyan and i am hoping that my not-so-outstanding test scores and gpa won't hold me back. thanks in advance!

I think your scores and GPA are kind of low for Wes. They may keep you out, even with ED.

^agree
S applied ED2 to Wes with considerably higher stats coming from a nationally ranked prep school and was waitlisted (eventually admitted)

It’s possible, but I’d put it as a high reach at this point.

As a Wesleyan alum of many years ago–and a long time Quaker attender at various meetings  — I would advise you to not give up at all. Instead, since you did so much better on ACT, study hard for the fall ACT with Writing, and retake it. Work hard on your grades next semester and ace everything. WesED II seems within reach–be sure to tell your story well in your essay and by all means go to the campus for an interview. Good luck to you–my son will also be applying!

It’s a reach, but since it’s your dream school you should still apply

thanks for the quick responses guys! yeah, i had a feeling that it was a reach, but i’m pretty sure that i will still at least try. thank you to morganhil in particular for the uplifting comment :)
