Whats good…
I’m a girl who applied to engineering?
I have USC credit (3 hrs & an A) from the summer program. It’s in photography though so I have no idea if that will help out at all.
I have straight A’s in math and I have 5 credits in both math and science. But I’m getting a B this semester in Trig (but an A in AP Stats, though I’m not sure how much that counts for).
One of my teacher recommendations is phenomenal. I have this weird anxiety that it got lost in the mail though (that’s what happened with Stanford).
Whats bad…
My grades / UW GPA.
I haven’t taken calculus yet (I’m in trig/pre-cal now). As an engineering student that doesn’t look good.

quickie, is calculus offered at your school?

when you weigh GPA is it 4.5 for honors and 5 for AP? or 5 for honor and 6 AP?

rank, top 85% does not sound good, do you mean top 15%?

calculus is offered. i just wasnt placed in a track that allowed for me to take it by graduation.

5 for "accel" and 6 for honors/ap

i do mean top 15% my bad

biomed.. i mean any kind of engineering, i think it looks bad if you're not in calc and they offer it.. i mean people can say i wasn't set in the track, but at least at my school, you can switch tracks after testing out/summer school.

what's accel? and I have a feeling weighted your gpa is not that high

yay for top 15.

in my opinion, I DON"T KNOW ANYTHING!!!, it's a reach
