Hi guys.
Last semester (spring), I ended up failing one of my classes. I tried to find the same class for this summer, but couldn’t find it at my community college and the sister school. With that failed class, I have a 3.12 gpa overall. I did try in the course, but with a lot of personal issues, it was hard to balance that and my school work. Because I couldn’t find the class, I’m taking another prerequisite class for the summer. UCI is my dream school and UCD comes in second. After seeing that grade, I wanted to give up, but I made a pro/con list that motivated me to continue on with my major. I want to major in biology and the class that I failed is Classical Physics: Mechanics. I technically didn’t need to take this class prior to transfer, but it is highly suggested. What would my chances of getting accepted to one of those schools if I do well this summer and this fall (going to retake that physics class)? Is it still possible? I’m also applying to universities this coming fall. I know I won’t qualify for those school’s TAG in time. Maybe for UCSC?

Thanks for the help everyone!
