Chance in Rutgers, New Brunswick?

GPA: 3.2
Class Rank: 133/305 (Around 40th Percentile)</p>

<p>I'm extremely worried about my chances into getting in a state college. Unfortunately, i participated in almost no extra curricular in my school. I have participated in many church activities that required a sense of leadership skills though and also do serious independent photography work (portraits,weddings) if thats even relevant at all. As a senior, i'm taking my first two AP courses. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.</p>

<p>It’s a reach. SAT score is way too low, GPA is also very low. Class rank isn’t that good.
You may want to look into Rutgers Newark, NJIT, Ramapo, or Montclair.</p>

<p>I’m aware that my GPA and class rank is already pretty much set in stone so i know i cant do much about that, but how much better would my chances be if i increased my SAT score to lets say…1600? 1700? I’m trying to get into the business school in Rutgers.</p>

<p>Also, how important would my essay factor in admission?</p>
