hey im a jr and interested in skipping frosh year of college and i was hoping to see wat i am falling short on so i can fill up those electives at a nearby renowned juco

so far i have gotten (or bet on getting) 4/5 on....Cacl BC, Bio, Chem, Physics C, Econ, Eurpoean History, both govnt politics, lit and composition, spanish, Us history, Stat....

i have taken japanese 101 in juco already

wat else are in freshman required courses...i wish to attain sophmore standing

wow no one....its seems pretty active here though...

Sophomore standing is usually just a matter of getting 30 credit hours.

It depends on which college/university you want to go to. For example, Amherst College gives you absolutely no credit for AP courses so you pretty much can't come into college with sophomore standing. Similarly, other institutions such as Vassar College puts a maximum on how much AP credit you can have so as to stop students from going into college as sophomores. Other schools will let you have up to a semester of credit so the most you can do is graduate a semester early rather than a full year ahead.

At the same time, however, there are also plenty of schools (usually mid-tier level) which will let you in essence "skip" your freshman year. I dated a guy who currently goes to Arcadia University (PA), who's doing this. As of now, you have more credit than he did upon arriving at that college so for that specific school (and others of that level, I'd imagine) it would be quite doable for you to graduate in three years.

Basically, you'd need to look up the specific requirements of the schools you're interested in to know for sure if it was possible to graduate in three years and how many courses you need to take in order to do so.

how about northwester, ann arbor, or chicago...if i get in that is

bumpidy bump bump (busy time)
