I applied to Temple University on 11/26 for Nursing. My SAT scores have been sent in, but my school is extremely backed up with sending out transcripts, and I'm working on getting letters of recommendation sent in. I'm a senior in high school and my current GPA is a 3.9. I've taken biology, chemistry, anatomy/physiology, and genetics/microbiology as my sciences and have had straight A's in all of them. I mainly took CP classes in high school, with one honors class thrown in there. My SAT score combined is a 1910, 1250 with just math and reading. I'm extremely involved in my high school's dance team, I take 4 dance classes each week at a dance studio, and I participate in the spring musicals at my school. I also hold a part-time job. I sent an e-mail to the nursing director, and she said the nursing program is NOT rolling admissions, but the nursing webpage says it is, so I'm a little confused with that. What are my chances on getting in?

I think you have a really good chance. My stats are similar to yours and I got accepted to the Temple Nursing program about one week ago. All my materials had been in for awhile though. Good luck!

Thank you so much! So you get accepted right away? I heard from someone that you get two separate letters: one for Temple and then later a nursing letter.

I first got an email saying congratulations, then I noticed it on my tu portal. I got a letter in the mail with scholarship information and in that it specifically said nursing school acceptance.

Okay, thanks for your help! And congrats on getting in!

on the portal where did you see that it said you got into the nursing program?
