<p>I am an International Student from Spain who has applied to several american universities for fall 2014. My intended major is mechanical engineering and my second option is civil engineering. These are my stats:

[</em>] Major Awards (USAMO, Intel etc.): Model UN Best Position Paper, Spanish Mathematical Olympiad (2x), Mediterranean Youth Mathematical Championship (2nd place), top 0.1% in state math contest for 3 years, participate in a highly selective science and mathematics program (<10% acceptance rate) where 24 students are selected in all the state and I have a full ride scholarship for junior and senior year of high school</p>

[li] Interview: did 3 for Columbia, Princeton and Duke. All were very good except for Princeton, which was a phone interview. The rest of universities did not have interviewers in my country or did not contact me for an interview.</p>[/li]

<p>So far I got into Columbia (likely letter), Northwestern, WashU, UCLA, UCSD and UIUC. So 6 out of 6, wasn’t expecting it</p>

<p>nvm lol, saw your posts…CONGRATS!! You definitely deserve it. IMO, you shouldve applied to harvard and yale, you wouldve had a good chance at both tbh. I wouldn’t be surprised if you end up at Princeton</p>
