I'm from WV and go to pretty much the best school and only prep school in the state. I'm a legacy at Princeton if that makes a difference.

Please chance me at Princeton, UVA, Stanford, Georgetown, Davidson, and Pitt

HOYL is probably your best EC at this point. With very little service and a relatively weak SAT in regards to these top schools, I’d say Standford is a very high reach, Princeton is a pretty high reach, UVA is a reach, Georgetown is a lowish reach, and Davidson and Pitt are probably matches (Pitt is probably a safety, actually).

Thanks- I forgot to put I have been in 4 school plays, I lifeguard in the summers, and I’m a Caucasian male if that helps with anything

SATs are low for top schools; retake em’ and aim for 2250+.

Agree on SATs. Get them over 2200 and you’re talking about a whole new ballgame.

those sat scores need to come up a little bit. also, if you could find some way to emphasize your specific interests and how your ecs show dedication to that interest, colleges would be more interested in you. They always want to see someone passionate about their activities over someone who just has a laundry list of things they have done just to put on their college apps.
being a legacy at princeton helps, but both princeton and stanford are extremely high reaches for you. Georgetown is a reach and so is UVA since you are out of state. Davidson is also tough, but i’d say it is probably a low reach/high match for you. pitt is definitely a match if not a safety.

What is your intended major? That should be a factor as to your schools list. Because you’re from WV, that may be an advantage as compared to being from a more populous state. As for Pitt, you’ll get in and if you improve your SAT (CR +M) to at least 1450, you’ll probably get a nice OOS scholarship.

I’m probably going to study history because that’s what I’m best at and like the most, but I may go for classics. If it helps with anything, I have an 800 on the reading part of the SAT (that may hurt because my math is a good deal lower). I realize the double legacy is really my best shot at Princeton, but yeah Pitt is my best backup at this point.
