I think it looks pretty good. There's nothing extraordinary that sets you out, but you should definitely apply.

Get great teacher recommendations, write a passionate essay, and i think you have a good chance. Also I think Stanford doesn't want perfect robot students, so show them you have a life beyond school and you aren't just racking up ECs to impress colleges. good luck, btw i got into stanford with just a 1990 SAT.

I don't want to sound discouraging, but i don't think you have a great chance. Being asian (I am also) does not help with getting into schools nowadays, and your EC's are n't great. Your scores are definitely on the low side for stanford, but you have a lot of leadership, which may be enough to offset the scores. I do think that amazing teacher recs will help, but you will also need to write an amazing essay to be considered. Also, if you knew your class ranking, that would help us to chance you better. A rank in the top 1% is helpful.

Oh, with your ACT score, shouldn't that be a 32? 2 31's and 2 32's average out to 31.5, which rounds up to 32....

thanks for the replies! :)

Your ECs are strong; they're not amazing, but they are good. The only other slight weakness you have is your SAT; get that up to 2170+ (the average for Stanford this year), and I'd say you have a good shot. Even with your scores, though, you have a good shot. Just because you're Asian does not mean you need to be planet-crushingly awesome to get in.
