and another question: since I want to major in maths, do maths competitions results matter a lot? There are actually differences between maths competitions and college level maths, and you need to put a lot of efforts if you want to improve in maths olympiads. So I wonder if there’s still chance even if I’m not an IMO medalist or RSI participant.
