Chance me? Admission to Duke/Robertson Scholarship

<p>So, this is the first chance me I have done (I posted this a few hours ago in the Duke forum and got no response). Please be honest, even if it is brutal:</p>

<p>GPA:
uw: 3.97 (1 B in an 8th grade class that counted for hs credit)
w: 4.15
(top 5% out of ~320)</p>

<p>Senior Year Classes:

(most rigorous curriculum offered at school)</p>

Writing: 690
Reading: 620 (I know its a little low; I'm retaking them again in December just for the reading section)</p>

U.S. History: 700
Math 2: 680</p>

Co-President of National Honor Society
President of all-male service club
Co-President of Environmental Club
Officer in the Beta Club
Co-organized an environmental education festival/benefit concert for Trees Atlanta (local environmental organization) that raised over $2500.
Captain of my school's Relay for Life team from 10th-12th grade, last year we raised over $2000; organized a recycling program for the event that our team participated at.
Organized a program at a local elementary school where students from various clubs at my high school tutor kids.
Varsity Letterman on Cross Country team 9th-12th grade.
Founding member of our school Ultimate Frisbee Team.
Member of a few other clubs: French NHS, Young Democrats, French Club</p>

Gender: Male</p>

<p>So, I know that my test scores are mediocre for Duke, and I'm white, and I'm in a difficult region.
Given that, however, do you think that my GPA and Extracurricular would be enough to get me into Duke (and the Robertson Scholarship, especially considering the leadership)?
Do you think that if I break 2100 on the December SATs my chances will be better?
Would taking another Subject in January (probably chemistry) help me if I could score in the low-mid 700s?</p>

<p>I’m also applying to Brown, Johns Hopkins, UVA, UNC, maybe UChicago, maybe Northwestern, and maybe Georgetown (I’ve already applied to UGA and GaTech in state, which are fairly good fallbacks). What do you think my chances are with any of those.</p>

<p>Also, how much would my admission chances to Georgetown be hurt by a few low (high 500s) SAT Subject test scores (since they require you to send all of them)–is it even worth applying?</p>

you should just send in your act and not worry about the sat</p>

<p>I say you have a fair chance of getting into Duke, but not the greatest. While you do have great leadership, if your scores can’t support, your chances of getting that scholarship won’t be amazingly great. </p>
