Chance me? Also, need help with ED2 vs RD?

Hi guys! I’ve really fallen in love with BU and wanted to know my chances of getting in.
I also wanted advice on if I should apply ED2 or RD. Boston is my first choice and I’d really love to go, but I’ve been told not to apply ED due to financial concerns.

I think I connect well with the teachers I asked for letters of recommendation, and
my essays have gone through multiple revisions and connect well to my major
and choice of school.

Thanks in advance!

BU seems like a perfect match for you. I would apply ED, mostly because BU is actually pretty good about giving people financial aid. Most of my friends who needed financial aid were given it. Also, you could apply for some scholarships like the presidential scholarship or the trustees scholarship. Also, what major/school will you be applying to?

Thanks for the advice and quick reply! It’s just that I’ve heard a lot of horror stories about BU not giving sufficient financial aid, but I’m glad to hear someone say that’s not the case.
As for major, I’ll be applying to CAS for Linguistics.

If you are someone BU wants, they will give you a lot of aid, otherwise no.
